Call for Papers and important dates

The main theme of this edition is "EDUCATION FOR THE FUTURE - Challenges and opportunities from the digital world", and we expect to receive your valuable contributions reporting advances in the typical research topics of the Industrial Systems Engineering. We welcome submissions on all topics (click here to see the topics list) of the Summer School 2020.

All submissions will be double-blind reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, importance, and clarity. Accepted scientific contributions will be presented and discussed as oral presentations.
The papers accepted and presented at the School contributions, will be published in the Summer School Web Proceedings (ISSN 2283-8996). The Proceedings will be indexed in Scopus.

Abstract submission (maximum 300 words, free template, no notification to authors will be provided, but abstract submission is required for full paper submission)

Submission instructions:

Please, read carefully the following instructions for the submission of the revised paper after the first round of review: 

1) Revise your paper as you deem fit with respect to reviewers' comments.
2) Use the official Summer School template.
3) Limit your paper to 7 pages.
4) You should submit a zip file containing:

  • the clean version of your revised paper in pdf, including authors details (camera-ready)
  • the tracked version of your paper in pdf (highlight the changes to your manuscript within the document by using the track changes mode in MS Word or by using bold or colored text)
  • the response to the reviewers' comment in pdf

Upload the ZIP file using the Upload File link in the conference's website home page http://www.summerschool-aidi.it/openconf/openconf.php. 

Papers must be written in English and submitted online using the Open Conf platform (click here to access the submission platform).

Full papers must be submitted according to the School template available at the end of this page. A maximum length of 7 pages is allowed for each paper. 

Paper Presentation in Absentia: Each paper requires at least an author regularly registered to the summer school. If an author is unable to attend the conference under extraneous circumstances his/her paper will not be considered for publication in the Proceedings.
