This special issue is seeking original, unpublished papers that describe recent advances in management issues and decision making models for industrial systems engineering. We aim to provide evidences that quantitative models, methods and decision support tools can help managing logistic operations.

We invite advanced research papers and reports on state of the art, or case studies for an effective assessment of industrial system engineering.

The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the Summer School Francesco Turco, but we are also inviting other experts to submit articles for this call.
