How to get to Naples
By air: The airport
Despite Capodichino International Airport is the only Naples City Airport, the services are efficient and it offers a variety of flights, allowing people to reach many destinations, including intercontinental ones.

From Capodichino Airport: Alibus Airport Shuttle transports passengers from Naples Capodichino Airport, to the Central Train Station and Naples Molo Beverello Port (Piazza Municipio). Stopping at these locations, it is a cheaper alternative to taking a taxi or using the city buses. UnicoAlibus tickets purchased on board the Alibus are €4,00. Tickets purchased at an authorised agent prior to boarding the Alibus are €3,00. Please note, bus tickets for Naples city buses cannot be purchased on board.
By train: Railways stations
There are three ferrovie dello Stato railway stations:
Piazza Garibaldi Central Station, on the eastern side of the city.
Mergellina Station, close to the molo of the same name, in the central area.
Campi Flegrei Station, in the north.

Convient and efficient bus and taxi services serve all three stations.
From the Central train Station: From Central Station in Piazza Garibaldi, catch the metro line 1 and get off at the stop Toledo or Piazza Dante. From these two stops to the seminar venue, is a short and nice walk.
Moving in the city
Taxi official tariff
The tariff system has an ordinary fare according to the meters, and a system of predetermined rates according to the rides. The ordinary tariff has a base amount: € 3.50 for weekdays and € 6,00 for holidays. To the amount displayed on the taximeter one has to add the supplements listed in the tariff. The minimum amount for weekdays is € 4.50. This tariff system was adopted on the 22nd of April, 2013.
The predetermined urban and suburban rates include any extra charge (to/from airport, night ride, holiday, luggage, animals).
By taxi: Flat rate €23 from the airport to a seafront hotel.

Line 1 and Line 2 of the Metropolitan and the four cable railways of Naples form the current network of rail transports. The network is integrated by three escalator systems which make transfers between the stations of Vanvitelli (Linea 1), Fuga (Central Cable Railway), Cimarosa (Chiaia Cable Railway) and Morghen (Montesanto Cable Railway).
